Thank you to everyone who came out to support them !

Shield Station, a new cafe dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming space for the Santa Anna area, has opened on Santa Anna’s main street in the former Shield Hotel building.
Owned by David Victor, Shield Station promises to be more than just a cafe– it aims to be a hub for community connections. Located one door east of City Hall, Shield Station’s ambiance is designed to provide an inviting and historic environment. With comfortable tables, clean lighting, and a special display of artifacts and photos of the historic structure, the coffee shop hopes to be a good place for both relaxation and entertainment.
“Shield Station is more than just a place to grab your morning coffee or a bite to eat,” Victor said. “It’s a place where people can come together, share ideas, and build lasting relationships. We’ve designed this space with the community in mind, and we can’t wait to see how it brings people together.”
Open from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, patrons can enjoy coffee, tea, sodas, and freshly baked pastries, as well as a breakfast menu and a lunch menu.
“This is the ideal situation for local folks to come together,” Victor said. “Shield Station gives us the opportunity to work for the common goal of creating an experience for our customers that brings people together for great food and the knowledge that everyone is welcome here. By the way, my mom taught me to make pizzas like the grocery store used to make.”
Shield Station, located at 707 Wallis Avenue in Santa Anna, had a ribbon-cutting grand opening celebration last Friday, with family and friends, featuring complimentary samples and specials. The picture shows the ribbon cutting, with David cutting the ribbon held by his son Dylan Victor and niece Audrey Reinlasoder.
